Ashley Irvine Try rebooting the computer with camera already on. A video signal can only be in one program at a time. If you have Blackmagic's Media Express open or it maintains control of the Intensity, Wirecast can not see it. Sometimes small power drops can cause the settings to reset.
A powered hub should solve that problem. Imry Halevi Interesting idea. Thanks for suggesting that. Did you solve it? I also had problems with Intensity shuttle, crashing wirecast, sometimes working sometimes not, now I don't have to much time to experiment and I also don't like to have surprises on live event like the last time.
Do you think using Win 7 could be more bullet proof, I have option to downgrade, I just dont want it to be even worse with Win 7, but I need it to work flawlesly :.
I have the camera with no change unfortunately to the problems. Likewise, I very rarely use any other media software with the Intensity Shuttle. I only do this for testing purposes. I am yet to test with a hub, but I will be doing so shortly. It is working on my main PC now, so I figure it could be a hardware issue. I have also ordered a Magewell, so this will hopefully resolve the issues.
I will report back. Lots of wasted money, but I hope it will be solved soon! Ashley Irvine do report on the Magewell device. We hear good things from users so far. I am still testing how the resolution and CPU usage compares.
Probably in these categories the BM may win, but I am not quite sure atm. But no issues with the device not working in Wirecast. Thanks for info but I was in a hurry so I went with BM DeckLink Mini Recorder, now I got another one and both are working fine for the moment I have 2 DSLR camera sources , and price was excellent, I had to sacrifice mobility and change HP mobile workstation for HP Desktop workstation price was basically the same , but I got more flexibility now to scale up the whole system.
Wirecast 7. We continue to investigate the Shuttle. Blackmagic drivers support multiple devices so that, by itself, shouldn't be a problem. Wirecast can not see the video source from intensity shuttle, but when i try blackmagic media expres video source looks normally. Anyone does have an idea to resolve it? After adding the Intensity Shuttle to a shot please check the shot's System Device Properties to make sure the settings are correct there. Is there anyone that has a Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle working in Max on windows? When I try to open the feed with jit. Both 2 and 3 just show a black rectangle when I try to open them. Capture works fine in Blackmagic Media Express software, as well as in TouchDesigner using the 'blackmagic' source, which suggests that the problem isn't with the device or the drivers.
I've tried sending at various resolutions and refresh rates, and I've tried setting the jit. Specs: Windows 8. May 07 am. I assisted to a max meeting in Paris 10 days ago. It seems that cycling team is working on better driver for Blackmagic digitizers. So i suppose that for now it does not work Mar 03 pm. Now a year later. Has there been any progress regarding the drivers for the Balckmagic cards running under windows 8. Mar 04 pm.
